This placed is owned by a bunch of juice head Guido’s that I particularly don't like. The show that i saw the trainers and patrons put on made me appreciate where i work. The stereotypes were classic and unforgettable. First we had the classic aging juice head that was slamming weights and angrily giving advice to patrons not asking for any. Next was the classic short trainer with a chip on his shoulder doing walking lunges with his clients (horrible form) and bicycle kicks while texting on his phone. All over the place was meat heads, steak heads, swollen monkeys, and of course the minions of post January 1st sign up scams. As you know I don’t like to ramble on in life or on this blog but these stories must be told. I just hit 275 ish and hope to stay around this weight until my cutting phase (miserable phase) in march. I have been semi strict with my diet as well as have been very consistent with my workouts. I will first try a mock competition that will take place during June sometime. If all goes well it might be a big change of life that could really benefit me and my family. Not sure why or how this pertains to fitness.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today for the big guy: Legs and Cardio&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I tried the first day of my new workout split incorporating the FST-7 training style into it and i am sore. I initially intended on doing the FST-7 for just one body part daily. But i tried it for Tris and chest and felt i could at least do this for this cycle. I am currently going for more of an off season bodybuilding style of workout. This entails less days in the gym and longer rest periods. Despite being a quote Will Ferall joked about this quote does not apply to fitness. Just because you go to a meat-head gym or a senior fitness center(Aquatic Center in Eisenhower)doesn't mean you have to go with the flow and alter your workout. If your are an experienced fitness individual (which i know you all are) do what you know it will save aggravation and injuries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you do happen to have some knowledge about where you will be working out that day find ways to make it more comfortable for you. Such as headphones, a gym bag with some gadgets in it, or in the case of the senior center a device to put yourself out of the misery of going before hand (just kidding it aint so bad old people need love to).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What are your thoughts on the different atmospheres you have worked out in. I was seeing so much progress more then ever before and then my back goes out. I really don't want to stop my routine but its impossible for me to dedicate a whole day to lower back when i can't do any dead lifts or bent over movements anymore. I figured out a way to get through this week pain free (relative) but Monday is going to be a fresh start and I'm going to have to rack my brain for some more back safe exercises that will still challenge me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My biggest frustration is that almost definitely i will not be able to do a strongman competition ever. My energy levels have been better than usually but i feel like i am over training and/or depleting my energy stores. I have taught more classes this session plus having a baby around means no naps for the big guy and I'm not happy(jk).
